To address the concern of health risks with the presence of Bis-phenol A (BPA), LOTTE CHEMICAL TITAN developed Superb High clarity PP, SM388, SM488 which are designed and formulated with  the latest generation of clarifying agent. Both SM388 & SM488 give superb clarity that come closer to Polystyrene (PS) and Polycarbonate (PC) and shorter cycle time as  compared to the available high clarity PP grades currently. It also has low odor & taste transfer; meets the relevant US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) criteria for safe use in the food contact application like feeding bottles for infants, sports drink bottles, houseware containers, etc.

 

The new generation of clarified PP allows it to come close to the transparency of high clarity plastics such as Polystyrene (PS) and Polycarbonate (PC). SM388 & SM488 are excellent choices for baby bottles and drinking bottle replacement in terms of cost/performance effectiveness when compared to other clear plastics.
