Lotte Chemical Titan produces Low Density Polypropylene (LDPE) products of good strength, high clarity and easy to process. Common LDPE applications include food packaging films, heavy duty bags, injection molded articles and container lids. Lotte Chemical Titan owns and operates an LDPE plant, which uses ExxonMobil’s tubular technology. The LDPE plant commenced operations in October 1999. It produces a wide range of LDPE resins including superior clarity film grades, heavy duty film grades, LDPE coating grades, injection molding grades, etc. Lotte Chemical Titan is currently producing products with a melt index range from 0.33 to 20 g/10min.

  • - Production of polypropylene plastic.
  • - Raw material in the manufacture of acetone, isopropyl benzene, isopropanol, isopropyl halides, propylene oxide
  • - Along with benzene, propylene is a key feedstock in the cumene process, a reaction carried out on industrial scales to produce acetone and phenol.
  • - Propylene is also used during the production of many other chemical products such as isopropanol (propan-2-ol), acrylonitrile, and propylene oxide.
